Presentation information

Lecture Presentations

The duration of a presentation slot is 20 minutes for contributed talks. Speakers will have 15 minutes for the presentation itself and 5 minutes for questions from the audience. Invited talks are 40 minutes in length, with 35 minutes for the presentation and 5 minutes for questions.
Speakers are strongly encouraged to attend the speakers’ breakfast on the morning of their lecture session, where talks can be uploaded onto the session computers and authors can meet their session chairs. Files can also be uploaded to the local PCs in the lecture rooms during the breaks between the sessions.
Speakers should arrive in their session room 10 minutes BEFORE the start of their sessions to report to the chair person. A proctor will also be available in case technical assistance is needed.
An LCD projector & computer (Windows 7, MS Powerpoint & Adobe Acrobat Reader) will be available in every session room for regular presentations. To avoid software compatibility problems, speakers are advised to EMBED ALL FONTS in their Powerpoint files AND bring a backup PDF-version of their presentations.

Poster Presentations

Authors are encouraged to leave their posters hanging for the full conference. The placement of each poster will be marked on the panel where it will be presented with the number of the poster contribution. Look for your number in the conference program. The size of the poster panel that is available to each presenter is: 200 cm (high) x 100 cm (wide). The format of the poster panel is portrait (height > width). This cannot be modified.
